AHIMSA’s school environment programmes are dedicated to fostering a generation of environmental stewards by reconnecting rural children with nature and sustainable agriculture. By establishing Children’s Eco-Clubs and Model Green Schools in government institutions, the initiative provides underprivileged students with practical, hands-on experiences in biodiversity conservation, waste management, and organic farming. Through interactive workshops on seed ball preparation, the creation of school herbal gardens, and student-led eco-awareness campaigns for World Environment Day, children gain a deep understanding of climate resilience and soil health. These programmes not only transform school campuses into vibrant green hubs but also empower over 300 students to lead environmental change within their own families and local communities.
